This week we’re celebrating the city of Portland proclaimed Portland Hip Hop Week 2019! With event all over the metro area from Hood River to Hillsboro, Gresham to downtown PDX, the 18 events happening this week are the result of work put in by Starchile [R.I.P.] and DJ O.G. One.

Having touched so many lives during his time on earth, there have been tributes to Star during the week and I get to share one with the listeners this week on XRAY FM. Rapper Champagne Duane with production from Jonny Cool created a track that speaks to just how impactful Star was in all our lives. My connection with these two artists is a credit to him.
