11 Years of Klyph Notes

On August 22, 2014, I released Episode #1 of Klyph Notes. At the time, I didn’t have a master plan. I just knew I wanted to create a space for real conversations with the people shaping the music and culture I love.

Back then, podcasting was still new territory for many of us. I had no idea where it would lead, but I believed that sitting down with artists, creatives, and community leaders — giving them room to share their stories in their own words — was important.

Since that first episode, Klyph Notes has grown into something far bigger than I imagined. I’ve had the honor of talking with legendary figures, emerging voices, and everyday people whose stories carry weight. These conversations have covered not just music, but life, resilience, creativity, and the ways culture connects us all.

What’s kept me going is the community. Every guest who trusted me with their story. Every listener who pressed play, shared an episode, or told me the show meant something to them. That energy is the reason Klyph Notes has lasted 11 years.

Looking back, I’m grateful. Looking forward, I’m excited. There are still so many stories to tell, so much history to capture, and so many conversations waiting to be had.
