Over the last three years Mic Check grew in popularity and hosted artists who are veterans of the Portland hip-hop scene as well as those still honing their craft….

In August, we’ll be presenting our final Mic Check of this series before going on an extended hiatus.

With a career as extensive as his, Vurs always puts on a great show and the rare occurrence to see him in Portland is not an event to be missed.

Headlining the bill is North Portland emcee Mic Capes, an artist who performed at the very first Mic Check back in 2016.
