In June 0f 2017, a panel of guests gathered at Open Signal in Portland Oregon to discuss the history, current state and future of hip-hop in the city. The panel included writer Jenni Moore of the Portland Mercury, engineer and producer Prince Strickland of Portland Underground Recording, recording artist Karma Rivera and promoter Anthony Sanchez of Runaway Production.
