Mic Check 1 year Anniversary

Thursday June 29th Mic Check PDX celebrates it's 1 year anniversary of bringing artists to the stage at McMenamins White Eagle, and you're all invited.

Vinnie Dewayne returns to once again bless the stage so if you missed his performance last year this is your opportunity see the St. John's Scholar bless the stage.

Also on the bill,  the hip-hop band ADDverse Effects will be in the building, as well as These?Blacks [DaiN, Jon Belz, Theory Hazit]

Now permanently located in Chicago, his second home since 2009, Vinnie Dewayne offers the first music video from his Duality EP in the cinematic music video "Sleep Paralysis." Displaying his unique storytelling ability, Vinnie fights his nightmares versus reality, battling to see what is real life as opposed to the thoughts in his head.
First single off the debut album, "A Good Problem to Have" out 10.21.16. ADDverse Effects is a 5 piece live hip-hop band from Norman, Oklahoma. They now reside in Portland, Oregon and are a part of The Hive Mind Collective. "A Good Problem to Have" is the culmination of the band's first four years together.
