Friday April 13th, Team Backpack teams up with the MIC Check crew to bring the city Team Backpack Live.

Last year the the collaboration featured performances from HANiF, OnlyOne & Vursatyl...

...Donte Thomas, Theory Hazit and Wynne.

Next week's event will feature a full set from Portland Vursatyl as well as the first open mic of the series, offering Portland MCs an opportunity show their skills in front of the crew and possible opportunities at future Mic Check & Team Backpack events.

The show will also feature a cypher with Portland emcees: Serge Severe
