New Year. Same Mission. Louder Purpose.
Hello world…
Happy New Year—and welcome back to djklyph.com.
I wanted to start the year with something simple, intentional, and rooted in why I built all of this in the first place.
At the heart of everything I do—radio, podcasts, live events, community partnerships, and wellness work—is one core idea:
Media. Movement. Mindset.
That’s the foundation of KlyphWorks, and it continues to guide how I show up for the culture and for the community here in Portland and beyond.
This year is already shaping up to be an important one.
Between the growth of Welcome to the Neighborhood, new chapters for Klyph Notes, continued work with No More Dirty Radio, and the expansion of our live events and collaborations, the focus is clear:
👉 build platforms
👉 elevate voices
👉 protect the culture
👉 and move with purpose
To kick off the year, I’m excited to share two upcoming projects that reflect that mission perfectly.
First up is the next edition of No Requests — our monthly Golden Era hip-hop night — with a very special theme:
Dill La Soul
A tribute to the legacy, influence, and spirit of J Dilla and De La Soul.
This night is about more than music.
It’s about honoring artists who shaped the sound, the values, and the creative freedom of hip-hop itself.
Expect deep cuts, timeless classics, and the kind of head-nod energy that reminds you why you fell in love with this culture in the first place.
I’ll be adding the official flier for No Requests – Dill La Soul right here on this post.
I’ll also be adding a flier for the No More Dirty Radio Show—a space dedicated to real hip-hop, real conversation, and real connection. Being part of that platform continues to be one of the most meaningful collaborations I’m involved in right now, especially as we bridge community across cities and scenes.
This post isn’t meant to be long.
It’s meant to be a reset.
A reminder that everything I create—whether it’s a radio show, a live DJ set, a podcast interview, or a community partnership—comes back to the same purpose:
To build something that lasts.
To support artists and storytellers.
To create room for healing, creativity, and honest expression.
Thank you for continuing to tap in, show love, and grow with me.
More soon.
More announcements.
More movement.
