Peace world! 2 years in November of 2013, I was in the midst of hosting Welcome to the Neighborhood on it's original home KZME when I was blessed enough to sit down with journalist Emily Berkey to be interviewed for the the first time on the show.

Emily has interviewed a number of artists from veterans like Too Short to more contemporary artists like Schoolboy Q so I felt honored to have her give me an opportunity to share why I do what I do with my audience and give folk a little background. Needless to say, I was a little nervous having the microphone turned on me, but she's so good at what she does, she was gentle with me.
